LOTTE MOOLSAN MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT

The Lotte Moolsan Mixed Use Development is a 4.5 million-square-foot, 125 story mixed-use development competition finalist submission in Seoul, Korea. Situated at the center of the commercial business district, the development includes 2.5 million square feet of Class A office space, 1 million square feet of world-class retail space, and 1 million square of hotel and residential space. Contemplated as a gift to the city of Seoul and the country of Korea, the Lotte Moolsan development design proposal suggests the poetic Korean traditions of horizontal garden and building made vertical; exploring man’s evolving journey of living and working in the sky, and the idea of building as wrapped and folded object/gift.
